hey,
i get a couple questions about STH, the writer of sth
and I cannot upload it at least not yet because we want to enter morning manga 6th competition, one which we have not heard of yet. it was supposed to be the fourth competition but i couldnt finish sth on time cause of school. and honestly i didnt know when the 5th passed cause, the 4th's competiton deadline was extended and ish got compicated from there. cause then 5th competition starting was postponed, so we didnt know when 5th started, and by he time STH was finialized, the 5th finished, weird. anyway, the original plan is to send it to the morningmanga, so we will. when the 6th pops up, we'll send it and then what ever happens happens. and if nothing does happen, we'll figure things out from there. sth is not cancelled or done. its just chillin on my table.
as you know, havnt had much time for other stuff cause of school and "Apple Black" my main manga. trying to make sure Apple Black is spotless, so i will not rush AT ALL! been reading bakuman as well to make sure i miss nothing, i feel bakuman was made for purposes like this, like some will say a guideline manga
, so im reading to see if its true. all i will say for now is apart from this manga "apple black" being a lil like a shonen type manga, im doing my best to make sure its originality bar is high and not comparable to others which explains my time taking. so yaw should bear with me. there are messages and elements i want use this manga to convey, so this is more than some action manga, at least i'd like to think so, cant say now, cause no one but me knows what is going on. yaw dont even really know the synopsis..lol..my bad. soon i will tell yaw more about my aim and inspirations for making Apple Black. im not only inspred by manga, im also inspired by other things. not that being inspired by manga only is bad but there is more to the manga than one thinks.

Just in case i get through i won't be in the country for a few days so won't find out the results until i get back. so if you could make the deadline around the 20th, if i get through that it, that would be absolutely awesome. i know you started this tournament later already but if you were planning the deadline orudn that time anyways i just wanted to make sure xD

I think Bakuman is a manga about the process of making and publishing manga specifically for shonen jump, and the kinds of in-manga stories they make are generally geared towards the shounen genre. Sure, in the story the main characters explore gag, romance, dark moody stuff and so on, but its ultimately about creating a best selling shounen manga, and ultimately about working hard to fulfill your dreams.
No one's rushing you but yourself. I think you'll make a great mangaka. I will be here to support you and Apple Black. Good Luck Odunze.
It's good to know that you're taking your time on this one. The problem with many mangas (and mangakas) is the excessive concern over quantity in the expense of quality. So I hope that you make good use of the time to make Apple Black an enjoyable experience
